    Speedometer error?

I just returned from a 2000 plus mile trip to the Ozzarks. Passed several of those Dept of Transportation 'speed" monitors, that flash your speed as you drive past. Each time I passed one, my speedometer reads 3-4 mph faster than the flashing monitor. Anyone else had this happen? I know that speedos aren't always completely accurate, just want some feedback. By the way, the B ran Perfectly! I Could not be more pleased, as this was it's 1st long ride. Saw thousands of bikes, but NO F6B's, except 5 for sale at Russelville Honda. That is an impressive dealership!

Most Honda's with metric speedos are around 5%-6% optimistic at 100 kph (62 mph).

I just started using a GPS on my F6. At lower speeds mine is off by 2-3 mph. At 55 and up it is on. 101 was 101😜.

Thanks. I didn't think those signs would be any more accurate than our bikes, just was wondering if anyone may have checked speedo accuracy before.

I don't know if it's only my bike that has same speed as GPS. I was surprised that my speedo and GPS speed is similar.

My speedo indicates +4% pretty consistently at all speeds.
    But now I know it!

This is one of the first things that I want to nail down. My BMW was spot on according to the GPS, but my VTX was off by more than 10%.

Mine appears to be accurate based on having same reading as my gps indicated. I was happily surprised as my 2004 GW was 3% off. I have a 2015 f6b.
