    tire milage?

How many miles can I expect to get on the original equipment Bridgestone Exedra G709 tires. I hope to get 10,000 miles, tell me I am not dreaming!

I changed my rear last fall......got 12,000+ out of it and just changed my front.....at 13,869......I've consistently ran 41 PSI front and rear.......I could have gotten another 1,000 out of the front, but I'm leaving on a 4000+ mile trip and I didn't want to have tire issues. Others have gotten less and others have gotten more!

    Hope that helps

    Smile Thanks for the update

I appreciate your advice! I am heading out on a 7,500 mile trip through 16 states and wanted to make the trip without changing tires.

    less mileage

Well Tire wear is the only negative I've found on the flat 6 bagger. Since changing from Harley dresser I've had no regrets and have big smiles . On the Harley I would go through 2 rear tires to one front.Usually 15000 to each rear The F6B wears about the same front and rear getting far less mileage than the Ultra Classic did. In defense of the F6B I have a tendency to ride it much more aggressively than I did the Harley due to the greater available power.(also because of my Harley riding buddies desire to stop eating Honda fumes)
Over all I love the bike but can't say I'm happy with tire wear.

    Well, I made it!

After 11,200 miles on the original 'stones' my tires have half the tread of new ones! I covered the western 15 states and stayed off the interstate roads. Since I got the F6B for my
65th birthday I really enjoyed the many National Parks. They are free for us older riders! Badlands, Mt. Evans and Echo Lake, Grand Canyon, Four Corners, Monument Valley, Hoover Dam, Mohave Desert, Nixon and Reagan museums, Hiway one, Golden Gate bridge, Avenue of the Giants, Crater Lake, Columbia River Road, water falls, Yellowstone, Big Horns.
Never got rained on! Amazing. Friendly folks in all states! Col 3:17
