If you are into the "wear bars" or have excessive cupping its time for new skins!

I checked my tire pressure dilligently

Attachment 19911 This is my rear tire with 7274 miles on it which is just about to the wear bars on the tire. I think it really depends on how frisky your right wrist is as my rear tire probably would have made 7500 at best but I change it out cause it was flat in the center of the tread and I didn't like the look. Running 40 in the front and 41 in the rear.

I got 13,500 out of my stock tires. I was very happy with them. I replaced them in kind.

    My 2 cents,

I just took my Harley in for new tires. The originals were Dunlop Elite 3 Radial tires with 24,000 original miles. When my F6B needs new tires, my choice will be the Elite 3 radial tires. The rear tire is shown in the photo below.

11.5k on the stocks, then went with the Mettzlers 888. Have @ 12k on them now. Looks like another couple of thousand left on front, more left on rear. No singing yet and leaning towards sticking with them for the next set. 40 front, 41.5 rear

You guys might want to check out the new dunlop elite 4. They are supposed to be high mileage. In this report it is stated the rider went coast to coast six times on the same set of tire, albeit it was done by Dunlop. Hell I would be happy to get 20k. I am down right now with a shoulder surgery so I can't give any updates but I will
