Garmen App?..

Is there a way to preprogram routes with the garmen plugged into your PC like the TomTom has?

What model do you have? Make sure your model can import route data.

If so then I might start with Garmin BaseCamp.

Alternatively if you register with Honda's Trip Planner you can create routes and export them to the necessary file format (.gpx) to import to the Garmin.

If your unit has a SD card then the answer is yes...

Yep Basecamp seems to be the way to go, although mine would not do you much good, only has a big Island on it.

I have the nuvi 40. It has a slot for a memory card but I don't have one. I tried the honda planner and copy and paste the gpx file to my garmen but it would not work....maybe I will need the card????
