Beautiful. It's "just" a symbol...but WHAT A SYMBOL!! If people understood the hope that the flag represents they COULDN'T bash its- sometimes fulfilled, sometimes not- but always hopeful and always available to all. Sometimes I think that African Americans (REAL African Americans) get it- as do a previous generation of Mexican immigrants- both groups hard working and freedom loving. Thanks for the post!
