    Suggested route to Franklin?

Is it too early to start this thread?
Anyone from Michigan or Ohio going to Franklin?
Been looking at different routes, looks like the orange barrels are everywhere.
Was thinking I-75 would be too much freeway, and thought some lesser traveled roads would be a nice scenic ride.

How about some feedback from anyone who went to Franklin last year from the north.

I-75 may be part of my route. Depends on how much time I choose to get there. I generally prefer taking the twisty route to the area, but takes a little more time.

Yep, I think it was 9 hours via I-75, and 11-1/2 hours off of I-75.

My route is simple. Been there more than a few times. I-40 for 6 long boring hours to Asheville then 74 and finally highway 28. Can't wait! I must say that the B is the best interstate bike I have ever owned, so it will not be as bad as it has been in the past on my trips out west---Western NC, that is.

If I can't fix it, I will fix it so no one can fix it.
