    hondaf6b.com website slowdown

Would like to get some feedback from the members of this site.

I have noticed for some time that the hondaf6b.com website has been running extremely slow, at least for me. Takes multiple attempts to get my login to work and then it takes sometimes up to 20 seconds for a forum page to open as I wait with a blacked out page (not the fastest color in this case).

Was wondering if anyone else has experienced this slow down for this site or if it is just me and the possibility of an issue with my browser setup. I am also a member on a very similar web forum, hondapioneer.com, and it runs fine.

    Thanks,

    X

    No Issue here

For my work computer that is! .... Don't get me started about the house but that's solely because of my crappy internet service!

Good in Philly. My service is 25MBps d/l and 5 MBps u/l.
The forum actually loads faster than Steve's "porn" links.....

Try clearing your cache and your cookies on your browser.
Something may be fighting something else and looping a bit.

Edit: or if you don't want to clear the browser, d/l another browser (Mozilla, Chrome) and try a clean iteration of that.

    Good luck.

Are you familiar with a basic cleanup?
    1) empty your browsers cache
    2) delete all old cookies
    3) empty your system and user temp folders
    4) view your startup items, uncheck the ones that aren't needed
    5) view your scheduled tasks, delete all of the ones that aren't providing any value
    6) view your browser add ons, uninstall the ones you don't use
    7) verify your antivirus application is licensed and up-to-date
A simple way to do a basic cleanup is to use CCLeaner, better than that, just google CCLeaner portable, the portable version doesn't make changes to your system, i.e., there is no installation process.
Yeah, it's a bit time consuming, but will increase performance..

Now, on the other hand, if you have a Mac, you just go to Safari->Reset Safari, and you're done.
