    Cool Ram Mount Lock.....

I just installed http://www.touratech-usa.com/Store/1...w-for-RAM-Arms I have a Touratec GPS mount and my insurance company will cover any loss if the GPS is " Locked " onto the bike. The insurance company approved this as it would take a hacksaw or a lot of time with torx wrenches to remove the hardward... Also installed one on my phone holder just so the holder does not grow legs... Great piece of mind, while eating in a restaurant or inside buying fuel....

Thank you Steve. Excellent advise. I just ordered one.
I always wondered if someone would walk by and just unscrew it and its gone.
Love this forum and all of its knowledge. RiDE SAFE!

Hey Steve, where did you mount the RAM to the bike? Pics? I need to install Radar and GPS Mounts on my NEW F6B.... I was actually thinking of 'sticking' them around the dash as I like them mounted high and forward. But first I would find out how much $$ it would cost to replace the dash if it does not work.

    Thanks

Here is my set up...nothing fancy...there are some mounts that would allow you to mount your items on the dash...

This is how I attached my radar. It works great there and the mount came with the detector. It's also very well in the line of sight. I also hard wired it into the bike which was fairly easy.

My GPS is mounted in the same way as Steve's. Ram makes excellent mounts.

    Thanks for the pics guys.

Anyone have good experience with Dash mounted RAMs on their f6b? I need to mount two devices.

    Thanks
