    Throttle assist

Has anyone used the mechanical throttle assist from Kuryakyn? It is the one that replaces your bar end weights.

Had one on my VTX. Found it difficult to use. Would not buy again.

Sorry Miles, you have the wrong product.

    Kury mechanical throttle cruise assist:

    Similar to throttlemeister, etc.

The one I had was a PITA.

Too much, too little, my pinky doesn't 'move' enough by itself as it's apparently connected to my palm! LOL!

Miles, there is enough stuff I on your bike that I would get dizzy trying to figure out what is what. Lol

I enjoy reading your post and insight on products.

    LOL!

Okay, I see which one you mean, now. BUTT...mine is a mechanical throttle assist.

It does not operate by its' own power, electrically, or magically. It is operated manually, by the mechanic that is riding the bike

some times you just need 10 min driving with Left hand on Handle bars, and this thing works, I just twist it and it tightens of throttle cable bar end, and in a emergency you can just turn OFF Throtle, very easy, had one on Road Star and Kawasaki Concours. I Like them,
