USMC lands in Conroe TX, catfish are not safe.

Steve (53driver) swung low through the Southside of I45 on his return to Florida. Great chance to meet and eat. We stopped in at Vernons Katfish House in Conroe and digested some cats, and fried okra, mac n cheese and delicious tea and Arnold Palmers. Bill1584 came as well as myself and Amanda our pretty young server (pic didn't turn out, sorry). We had a fun hour together and then went kickstand up. Bill had to return to work, but Steve and I got in a paired tour east on 105 heading Steve towards Beaumont and then back to Florida. Nice to see you again Bill and nice to meet you Steve. Be safe back to Florida, bit of weather was east as we split up.

It's pretty good catfish and I have eaten plenty.

Thanks to Randy and Bill for making the time and picking up the tab.
Catfish was really tasty - both the fried and the grilled varieties.

Put over 1700 miles on Isleen since Thursday, she's over 11.3k at a year in my possession.
Not record setting, but not too shabby.
Now I gotta do laundry and pack for Franklin......
