How do you store your extra windshields?

OK guys after reading several hundred threads about all things F6B a question occurred to me while I was looking at shields. Many of you have more than one shield and change them according to weather, season, one up two up, etc. How do you store the extras so they remain scratch free? I could hang on a nail or wrap them in some sort of cloth and lay on a shelf in the building but was just curious what the rest of you were doing.

I store the spare shields in the boxes they came in and keep them in my garage. I still have spare shield from old bikes I haven't owned in 15 years - LOL

On a nail; hanging in on one of my Amish shed walls; out of reach from anything that could bang into it.

I don't know but if I buy any more I may have to have a special rack or something.

In the attic, in the box of the one that replaced it.

    Windshield storage solved

Like many of you out there, I have shields going back 20 years and for dozens of bikes. I wish I could tell you they are displayed nicely or cateloged alphabetically by bike--whoops, does Honda fit beteween KTM and Ducati or is it F6b between Desmo and Kitana?

So now they are wrapped in plastic and arranged by size with the larger Harley guys up against the wall and the smaller BMW cafe styles in front. Of course a few are out for seasonal changes (here in NorCal we don't use big screens in the summer) and weekend trips require more protection from bugs and possible smoke from fires, but usually one or 2 screens/bike keep the rotation fresh. Ironically, I went back to the OEM shield after falling in love with a very small Cee Bailey in opaque black so I applied a shiny vinyl to the OEM shorty and voila! A new shield.
