    Side stand foot plate adapter

    G'day everyone.
    Is there a supplier of a decent foot plate adapter to increase the side stand foot print?
    Not keen on the Wing Stuff version and dont want to resort to carrying around a plate that I need to place under the kickstand.
    Thanks.

    If you feel a little creative here's some info on a kickstand pad I fabricated from black vinyl sheet......a black cutting board will also work. Slipped a piece of heavy paper under the pad and traced its shape. Then used my drill press to hog out the vinyl. Made the strap from some black plastid and secured it with two stainless screws and Nylock nuts. Works like a champ! Been in place for over two years without a problem

    Thanks fellas;
    Some where I thought I read that the Wing Stuff pad didnt fit latter F6B's, but that must be wrong.
    I'll take your advice and order one.
    Best wishes all.

    The Rivco pad is fine as long as you don't ride aggressively. Due to the shape, it will impede your cornering clearance. Even after significantly reshaping the pad, it still got in my way so I finally removed it. That was a wasted $30 experiment for me.

    Being of relatively short stature with 28" inseams, one of the first things I did was to install a 1" lowering kit. Unfortunately one of the unforeseen results was a grinding sound when I leaned the bike over during hard left cornering. At first I thought it was the floor boards but after careful examination I found I was indeed grinding the side of the foot off the stand. The clearance tolerance is that close!
    So be careful of what you wish for.

    No such thing as a free meal eh!

    I have had good luck with the Kury chrome kickstand. The foot plate is twice the size of the stocker.
