    1) When the bike is on the side stand, it leans to the left which favors keeping the trunk open.
    2) When stopped on the side of the road and accessing your Tour Pak, your back is not to traffic.
    3) My wife puts things on her seat which doesn't get in the way of a side opening trunk.
And #4.....If you strap a bag to the top of the pak, and one on the rear seat, like I do on longer trips, you can still open without removing either bag. I never have understood why BMW and Honda haven't figured this one out.

Added my 2 cents. Maybe it is a patent issue ?

I thought about the BikeTronics 7.1" pods, but they are a bit spending.

No, that's a rebranded HD item from days gone by. F6B patch came from Steve 0080.

Bringing up an old post did we ever get pics of how the OP mounted his trunk on the bike? A few pics looks like there is a Honda rack under it?

Some people have mounted their trunks to an F6B rack (i.e. Givi trunks), others have made their own mounting plate and others have modified the matching Harley Tour Pak rack to fit the F6B. People use pipe nipples or sections of heavy aluminum tubing for the 4 standoffs.

Here is some picts of a DIY bracket.

Does that trunk make your butt look big?

    What do you all think?
It goes with the lines but if you wanted a full wing you should have bought one! Just saying! Order a Kuryakyn Ultra tour bag from Value accessories for anything more distant that my normal rides as I am planning an excursion next summer out to a friends house in Idaho.
