2016 F6B Annual Rally ... It's officially in the books!

1004 miles, 14.25 hours according to maps.
Long ride. If I do go I will probably do the same and stop overnight!
Will have to check out a good midway point.

Well, that is farther than it is for me. I would consider taking the "Blue Roads" and not be ashamed to stay 2 nights in hotels on the way. That's why I travel mostly alone, I can stop when & where I want to without upsetting anyone else' plans.
