"New to me" F6B joins the flock

Hi all . . . I've been on this forum for a number of months learning as much as I can as I weighed a decision on what my next bike would be. I've had a Honda VTX 1300R for eight years and rolled up 55,000 km (34,000 miles) -- so it's just broken in! :-) Truth be told, I just couldn't deal with the issues that come with a carburetor, the odd decel backfire etc. Just needed (okay, I wanted) some up-to-date technology (a gas gauge for instance!). So today I pulled the trigger on a 'new to me' 2013 F6B in that fast black colour. It only had 2,600 miles (4,200 KM) on it with 3.5 years left on the warranty. Put 250 miles (400 KM) on today as I got used to this amazing machine. Came with a passenger backrest and tinted Klock Werks windscreen. Hey . . . it's a start! Here are a couple of trophy shots from the foothills and mountains west of Calgary.

    Congrats!
I'd rather be on my bike thinking about God than in church thinking about my bike.

Whether it's true or not, I'm going to tell myself (and my kids who don't listen to me) that you bought your black beauty due to my upselling & the test ride you did on my bike back in May. Sorry that the test ride was too short, but I LOVE riding this bike too much & I'm greedy.
I've said it before, this bike is so awesome... everyone should buy one.
