need some advice from those who have... or had....a Kuryakyn 4039 heel toe shifter lever in combo with the Kuryakyn 4328 (or black) comfort drop mounts with Kuryakyn miniboard pegs...here's why

about 2 months ago, I ruptured FHL tendon in my left big toe...now, even after rehab, I can't slip left foot/boot under stock F6b shift lever to shift up through gears without pain.....not that it was an easy thing to do BEFORE I injured the toe....but....is very painful to shift up now, especially from first to second gear....

I have tried different shoes/boots to no avail....I currently have Kuryakyn miniboard pegs with the 3/4 inch comfort mounts..which are very comfortable and don't want to go full floorboards with heel toe shifter route....

Would be very thankful if anyone out there with Kuryakyn 4039 or other similar heel toe shifter would jump in to give advice on fit, problems, etc.....Thanks
