Does anyone have a
Kuryakyn 1688 Universal Charger USB Power Port
Do you like it? or do you recommend something better?
Where can I connect it to a switched power supply?

You can connect to a switched power supply by using the accessory terminals on the OEM fusebox...or another way is to install an aux fuseblock, such as the PC8 or EC also makes a similar one.
There are lower-profile USB ports available, if you don't mind drilling a hole in your plastic.

Another fuse panel I've used is this one:

If you think you'll only connect 2 or 3 devices, you can use the 3 circuit model. Or, if you want to go crazy with it, you can go with the 8 circuit model. This is a much better approach than adding more and more connectors directly to your battery. It also enables you to make your devices "switched" devices. That way, your devices are only on when the ignition is switched on. In addition, each connected device can be fused independently. Believe me, that's a real plus.
And finally, there are better choices for a dual USB port than the one the OP inquired about...IMHO, of course. For comparison, take a look at this:
