Went to the beach yesterday , stopped at a " lookout" point and got shocked !!!!! Temp 70* sunny, lite breeze !

WOW, I DON'T BELIEVE IT...LOOK AT THAT, the guy caught a decent sized sea bass with a lure and a freshwater rod.

Usually ride all winter, plug into 12 volts, and you're 70 degrees in your jacket.

As I read through these entries on this thread....most of which are from the eastern regions of the US, I am overcome with memories of high humidity, lots of precip, hurricanes and tornadoes, roads bordered with thick vegetation and trees, and a lack of real twisty mountain roads and distant scenic vistas......

I offer a western alternative to compensate for the weather, the scenery and the quality/quanity of real motorcycle roadways....

Migration, the snowbird type, will cure most of the weather and season problem....Live or spend your time in the state of Idaho, Montana, eastern Oregon and Wasington and Wyoming during the months of April through September.....riding in the Rockies and its relatives...on real curvy bike roads...in weather that is clear and sunny and usually below 40 per cent relative humidity...without tornadoes, hurricanes and nasty weather....

Then...migrate to the southern counterpart of those western states in October and stay until April.. in the likes of southern Utah's National Parks galore, Arizona's and New Mexico's high deserts and mountain regions, not to mention southern California, Death Valley and Las Vegas where, again it is warm, without humidity, dry and extremely scenic....with just a few more long straight roads than up western north....

The migration solution is further resolved by owning 2 Honda F6Bs...one stored and ready to go in each of the two home base dwellings in each region...to dodge the need for hauling, loading and unloading, a poor form of amusement for those of us over 65 or 70...and the year round riding issue is solved....

Just an experience proven process...and a possible plan for those who like year round riding in beautiful scenery, on highways and biways meant for 2 wheels, and on days filled with sunshine, dry weather and very low humidty......Just sayin.....
