    Brakes Done Quickly

I had the warranty work done last week at my local dealership - CycleMax in Honey Brook PA. They had the bike for a day and everything seems pretty much the same. My back brake might have just a little more bite but nothing noticeably dramatic. They have a great crew at CycleMax so it was a pleasurable experience for me - as usual.

Been months since I had the shoddy recall work done by the local dealer. Yesterday I did a final check of all bleed fittings; none werer found to be weeping any fluid (finally). I think I am finally out of the woods....

Any further brake work (replacing pads, bleeding. etc) will be performed by myself. No way are they going to touch my bike again; unless it's another warranty/recall issue.

Maybe we should start a list by state which dealers are
doing the best and other kind of work.

I've had good luck with Honda Powersports of Rockville, and Twigg in Hagerstown.

    Not so much in FredNeck.

They said I was the 2nd person out of 60 Goldwings to get the recall done.

Got the work done this morning, I set the appointment Tuesday after I got a card in the mail from Honda. They changed the fluid replaced the rear master cylinder no problems.

I stopped last week in Durant, Oklahoma to make an appointment after I received my second notice from Honda. Another F6B owner was a no show for his appointment so they still had the parts & scheduled it for Tuesday. It was ready Wednesday morning. System was drained & rear cylinder replaced. Treated me great & did a great job.

Just scheduled mine today, parts are on order. I asked if I was going to be their guinea pig and the service manager assured me they have already done @ 60 recalls of which 2 of them were actual lock ups. I haven't noticed any issues on mine in 25,000 miles.

Which dealer are you working with for your recall.
