I'm an electrician myself but I'm going to say it works on FM...the second letter stands for Magic.

Btw, I have these LEDs myself and they are every bit as advertised. Thanks much, Davidk!

The circuitry in each bulb is identical. When power is applied the circuit turns on and flashes independently of the other. It just appears they are in sync, which they are, but they ain'tnot.

This. Except for the "ain'tnot." Is that a TX term designed to confuse normal folk?

Thank you for the explanations. So basically, the precision of the internal semiconductor manufacturing tolerances is what reduces the timing variations between LED flashes to imperceptible levels. I think I can handle zero wiring, so I just ordered a set. Many thanks to Davidk for introducing this product.

Took 5 mins to install. Pull the trim off that sits above the light panel (not sure that you even need to do that). Remove the two 10mm nuts inside both bags to remove the light panel. Pull the wire harness off and rotate the bulb carrier to the left about 1/4 turn to remove. [...]
I removed the two 10mm nuts inside the bags, and ... the light bar didn't even move! So I looked up the 2013 parts view, and sure enough, my "combination light" has 4 nuts instead of 2 (see part #18 in attachment). The other 2 nuts are not easily accessible -- not sure how to reach them and how much plastic I'll have to take out. But I suspect it will take more than 5 mins!

I only see 4 total #18 nuts in the pic you attached. There are 2 in each bag. Where are the others you are talking about?

Are you guys looking at a GL or F6 tail light ? I am thinking there are only two acorn nuts that are removed...
