    That's the price you pay for a custom leather seat.

    A Dual Tour seat with no heat or backrests is $597.

    For the Smuggler modular system:
    Front seat, no heat $289
    Back seat, no heat $289
    Smuggler trunk $799
    * Total* $1377

    ..and whatever shipping charges to your home.
    To add heat to the seat is $170 more - each.
    That's why it's $1500.

    If shipped to a California address, do you have to pay additional sales tax too?

    maybe its me i'v been riding over 45 yrs have owned over 30 motorcycles the F6B is the best stock seat I have ever had. I had mustang (which I really liked,) Corbin's, travelcade even the Ultimate. The only other stock seat I ever liked was a 1987 venture royal, this Wing seat lets me do 400 mile days with no problems. Not to knock the Corbin but I had 1 on my Valkryie an after 3000 miles sold it ( maybe I don't have a corbin butt) to hard ( num butt) an now you're telling me 15 large? I just might till I hit 100,000 on my F6B then think of replacing it.

    The major cost is the trunk thing he bought. That's nearly half the total cost

    The trunk does add some functionality that standard seat wouldn't, not to mention a distinct change of appearance.

    Kind of ya either like it, or, you can live without it.

    Seat costs can add up real quick. I'm a died-in-the-wool Russell Day Long supporter. The Corbin Dual Tour w/o heat and backrest will most likely be less expensive than having RDL do an F6B seat,,,

    All butts are different, Some have Corbin butts, mine is RDL. If you know what works for ya, do it!

    I guess I have a Corbin butt.

    Mercury, you can bet California will get their tax out of you.
