I have a Kury trailer hitch, one that comes straight out normal, the small type of receiver. The 9" receiver has a 3" rise to hold it above the muffler heat some. Most racks are inbetween the mufflers but mine is much larger. I custom made it from all aluminum diamondplate and Alum angle that I got at a salvage yard, I then put a angle on the bottm to further deflect the exhaust heat downward. When loaded I attach the lic plate to rear of rack.

One of the cases is a GIVI. The one on the bottom that gets beat up more is a look alike after market from ebay. This is how I attached it to the Receiver on the bottom. Also the GiVi bracket for the top one.

I made my own mount and fitted this Kawasaki Nomad trunk to my F6. Wife loves it and it can be on or off the bike in 10 minuets. Tail/brake light is wired through the hole for the back rest in the Corbin seat (now). It goes well with the bikes lines and i'm still tossing around the idea of painting it blue to match. This trunk kit is not an inexpensive option though at $1500 for the kit but I had it for my prior Vaquero.

Sorry for delayed response, just read your post today.

The rack I used was from ebay, I liked it because it is flat, fairly thin and strong. It may not be available any longer. The trunk is actual Honda accessory trunk for another bike, possibly NT700V. I had it painted to match. I think it is 45 liters capacity.
