I can't have that bright chromogasm silver bolts on my bike. Where's the black ones?

I was able to install an Ultimate seat without too much difficulty using the original bolts after I added a washer under the front plate per a post by Wing'n it:

"I found the solution to the seat being hard to install. I took mine back off and was trying to figure out exactly why it's soo hard to get the bolt back in place. Turns out that the problem (at least with mine) is the front metal plate that Ultimate is using for the front catch. That plate is working like a stop because of the way it's bent. I took mine off and added a 1/8 inch shim plate just under the front mounting bolt to widen the gap a little. Now the seat drops right on and the bolts just push through into the frame holes no more prying it forward with screwdrivers through the holes. I'll get a picture up later of what I did."

w/o the shim, I couldn't get the stock bolts in. Thank you Wing'n it.

You got me on that one. I'm kinda tired. Been dragging three HD's through the Arkansas mountains for the last two days. Did a moonshine run , 110 miles , 662 curves this morning. Peel ferry run this afternoon. Only 352 corners on that one. My chicken strip is in the middle of my tire.

Seat is being delivered tomorrow, it will be impossible to wait for a shipment of bolts and a day of paint n dry before installing. Christmas is tomorrow. If I do get a set I was going to paint em. Thanks SImon.
