I don't agree with the 'human eye being inefficient' part. I think Chuck Yegaer would agree. But I fully agree with the drivers are lazy when using their eyes when they drive. Some, like my wife drive straight ahead and never fully scan. I always scan looking for rocks, broken bottles, a lost wallet or other things that could make me want to stop or slow down. That's a good article, thanks.
