Might just be sleeping in until then. The weather looks terrible for a while yet. I rode more in January and February.

Just a quick note to those who have not kept up! The original date of Sunday the 10 has been changed to Sunday May 1. There will be dancing around the pole from Russia to here on that date.
Reason: as promised here's the latest forecast, 3" -4" of snow today. Tomorrow record low morning temperatures in the upper teens.
The good news is by Tuesday the temps will recover back up to the 60's.

Can't make it to this one.
Spring Gobbler comes in that Saturday. Always go hunting with my boy.
    Ride safe and have fun!

Ahh Pap come on aren't you supposed to shoot that thing before 9 AM and be out of the woods by 12 noon Saturday. We're not riding until Sunday.

PS If you didn't shoot one by Sunday morning stop by the house and I'll let you feed them.Attachment 20130Attachment 20131Attachment 20132

Thanks for the offer Bob. The only feed I have for turkey is lead. Lol. If we don't go to camp to hunt, it might be possible.

    Warm Temps

It's currently 86 degrees in Orange Lake, Florida. I'm departing Wednesday morning for Pa. Hope to bring some of these warm temps with my migration north. Looking forward for the meet on May 1st. I know dam well I'll be firing up the coal stove and propane heater when I arrive in Madisonville

Not to worry Bob, went down to Tobyhanna creek to help stock the fly stretch for this Saturday's opener. It was beautiful in the mid 50's. Had to take my jacket off on the walk in to prevent deodorant failure. Whats really scary is the forecast for this weekend into Monday is in the 70's. What a deference a week makes. Is your house up here air conditioned?
