    Vets Ride

    I'll be participating Saturday.
On the Harley as Pensacola Motorsports still has Isleen.

Well, I keep telling myself it is for a good cause - it is.
    Lots of dedicated people.
They built ramps in a disabled vets home last weekend.
They will respond in person to any vet who calls saying he needs support.
A few were even certified to do so professionally.

So registration was 9-10. Ride briefing at 10. KSU at 1030.
First stop was 17 miles away.
Second stop was 15 miles from there.
Third stop was 6 miles from there.
Fourth stop was 10 miles from there.
    Ride home was 37 miles.
Whole event (including ride home) took 8.5 hours.
    Less than 100 miles total.
And I definitely need to restock my pirate wardrobe....

But it's a good cause and good people.

    Cheers,
    Steve

PS - Saorla was the second oldest bike there and she held her own very regally.
