Successful people build each other up. They motivate, inspire and push each other. Unsuccessful people just hate, blame and complain.

Thanks for that Phantom...I remember watching that on the TV. What an accomplishment for the day.

    Very cool

It's sad that the Obamanation defunded NASA years ago and pretty much killed them

We visited the Kennedy Space Center last summer while waiting for our cruise. Pretty much in awe with what was displayed there, as well as the launch facilities.

I think NASA is planning a trip to Mars now.

    Thanks for those memories, Phantom.
Yep. I was a big fan of those missions back then.
On Columbia's STS-4, I had the privilege of making HAM radio contact with the mission on the 20 Meter (14Mhz) amateur band and received the card below.
I was only using a 100 watt rig and a long wire (with a tuner) for an antenna back in those days. I had very little extra hobby money way back then and almost all of my equipment was home-brew. I remember how thrilled I was to make that contact and receive the card as there were hundreds of HAMs trying to make the contact.

BHO gave NASA a new charter doing PR spin. They are no longer a Space Agency, but another one of his political disinformation arms.

Obama is a moron. I did order a Trump decal yesterday for my truck. Maybe Trump will revive space exploration. There's a payoff in it.

I thought I might have seen one of those white ones on the road the other day. Not sure, I went by it so fast with the blue streak, I couldn't tell for sure.....LOL
