Make your reservations at the host motel soon, we have all of the hotel blocked and there are only a couple rooms left for Saturday night and a few more on Friday night left.

Where: Best Western. 4929 East PikeZanesville, OH 43071 (740) 453-6300 I-70 exit 160. Map to Best Western.
Escorted SE Ohio Ride on Saturday Starting at 9:15 AM from the Best Western parking lot, We will be ending up back at the Best Western also.
Be gassed up and ready to go by 9:00, short meeting at 9:05 and leaving promptly at 9:15 AM.
We are expecting to be back at the Best Western around 5:30 PM Saturday evening.
Friday Night: We will have a meet and greet starting at 7:30 PM Friday night at the Motel. We will have pizza and snacks for everyone. There will be door prizes to be given away.
The Friday Night Car show at Denny's Diner across the street from 6 PM until about 8:00 PM is a must see.

In addition to the Main Escorted Ride on Saturday.
    Wednesday through Friday:
Self Guided Rides. We will have ride maps available. Click here to see all of the additional suggested rides. There are lots of great roads and routes to take. Come a few days early and ride. We will be at the motel starting Wednesday. There will be lots of people around at the motel for socializing in the morning and later in the afternoon every day.
Saturday Ride Description: Leisurely ride from Zanesville going East, through scenic winding back roads at times following a few rivers and lakes. Route will go around Seneca Lake & Dam, Wayne National Forest and along the Ohio River. Ending up in New Martinsville, WV for lunch at Quinet's Court Restaurant.
The Court Restaurant has a home made lunch buffet (with home made deserts) for appx. $10.95. We will have a large private area set aside for our group.
From there we will ride South along the Ohio River, then West into the National Forest on 260. Everyone is encouraged to only ride at their own pace through the curves.
Then route 26 through the forest to the North side of Marietta, we will stop at a covered bridge on route 26 to give everyone a little break. Route from the Covered bridge South on Route 26 will be at your own pace, anyone wishing to ride at a faster pace will leave first. There will be lots of great curves and scenery to enjoy in this section ending up just north of Marietta. After taking a bypass on the north side of Marietta we will then take route 60 a short distance to the gas stop then up along the Muskingum River all the way back to Zanesville. Planned stops in this portion, Muskingum River locks #8.
There is very little traffic on these roads on Saturday, making this a very enjoyable ride.
This will be a 217 mile (total) ride. We will make appropriate gas and rest stops. There will be plenty of time for socializing. This is a good opportunity to take a nice ride, meet some new people, and possibly get away for a couple of days. Everyone is welcome, no matter what you ride. Best of all, this ride is free and does not cost anything except food and gas.
If you only want to do the portion of the ride in the morning to the restaurant or the second half of the ride from the restaurant back, that is fine. We will be at the Court Restaurant at approximately 12:30 PM.
In addition, see the SE Ohio Motorcycle Ride Guidelines Page.
What to expect: A nice ride through some very scenic and even somewhat challenging roads.
A great time and a chance to meet old friends and make a few new ones. Single riders are welcome (Male and Female), you will find this to be a very social ride and group. Do not worry about coming alone and not knowing anyone, that will change pretty quickly.
We will block intersections. We also have people flagging at intersections that we can not block.
All bikes are welcome, Teresa does ride in the back with a radio.
There are also several clubs and many individuals that participate, so you will most likely see quite a few different bikes.
We do go across the bridge into West Virginia for lunch, so helmets are required for this portion of the ride.
The 2015 SE Ohio ride went very well with 90 bikes and 135 people on Saturday. We had a good mix of bikes and another great day. The restaurant could not have been better again.
This will be our 14th year hosting this event and with the addition of Self Guided Rides again in 2016, we plan on making 2016 the best yet.
Due to popular request custom designed SE Ohio Ride Event Shirts are now available for this years Event. These are being made in limited quantities and can be purchased before or at the event. To guarantee your shirt and size order before the event.

The weather was good. No rain on Saturday and everything went smooth. We actually rode 555 on Friday with perfect weather also. The pre-ride on Thursday was also good, little rain just south of Zanesville on the way up 60.
The potential for rain scared a lot of people off. We had 46 bikes on Saturday, had about 140 that were planning on coming. It definitely was a lot easier with fewer bikes.

Glad to hear that! It was a mess up here all weekend, beginning Friday night. I'm not surprised the forecast had an impact on attendees. I can't imagine trying to manage a ride with 100+ bikes. We had 10 in a group in Colorado and it was a nightmare!

Happy you had a nice event! See you next year!
