Hahaha. Lies for sure. Steve looked like a zombie when he came to the house. North side Houston traffic raped him Friday evening. He was ready for a couch and some hydration. We juggled rooms around and got him a bed for the night. He departed around 7:30 this morning all refreshed.

He's had a rough trip. Lots of rain. The older we get the more it hurts. Sounds like you guys had a good time and I'm sure he appreciated the accommodations.

His new "outdoor living area" has a fridge (it's in the pic - I was never too far away from it) and he told me to help myself.
His rules are pretty simple - he'll point to where stuff is. Then you are on your own - it'd be your own dang fault for not having a good time!

So to answer your question - no, he never offered me one - he just told me where they were.
I guess he figured even a Marine would be smart enough to proceed forward at that point....
