    We grew up poor 53. Stro and I used to steal hubcaps and sell them so we could buy yoohoo's and moon pies. Stro knows how to make money.

    I went up there a couple of years ago for the Tunnel2Towers 5K.

    Indeed, soon as I get close to the two reflecting pools, on the footprints of the Towers, and hear the thunder of that water cascading down those walls it sends a chill down my spine every single time.

    Thanks for sharing the pics. Years ago we took the kids to Ground Zero to pay our respects. Very sobering indeed. Someday the wife and I will go back.

    Since we're on the subject

    Had a buddy who worked in the Verizon building, 140 West St., right across the street from Building 7 and he took these shots shortly after.
