    Changed the rear tire

I changed out the rear tire today I didn't want to lay it down of take the back fender off so I build a small ram and drove it up on the deck. Backed it up onto a platform. Done in a few minutes.

    Well done, sir!

With my luck, I'd be under that bike and the whole thing would have come off the center stand in the rear direction. I would have tied that front end down to something.

I think I will continue to lay a blanket in the grass and gently let the bike on its side.... That pic looks a little scary to me.

I wouldn't do it that way

The engine guard and the saddlebag guard are more than sufficient to keep the bike from hurting anything. You can lay down two rubber mats under them or two pieces of carpet and make sure your gas cap is on tight and it lays over just fine without breaking anything. Its a 10 minute job and you don't have to build anything or put your bike in a precarious position.

A ratchet strap from the front crash bar to the center stand precludes any accidental come offage. Way to go Jack. Good thinking.
