Not to steal the thread. Glad to see you back Miles any damage to the neck operation and how much damage was done to your "B"?

The neck issue was receiving Cervical Epidurals...injections...for a nerve issue due to foraminal stenosis. I am already schedule to receive the next injection this coming Wednesday.

The bike "appears" to have damage limited to several things electrical. Some things got sorted out...some got melted...some got fried. I need to do a complete electrical diagnosis on the bike, and determine how much I want to do myself, and how much I want the great dealer in Lakewood, WA. to do.
I can tell you that the plastic/rubber cover on the antenna was burnt off, leaving just the inner core of the antenna.

I still think you should be contacting Honda corporate to let them know what happened (and it's still running). I think they would be quite interested! Who knows, they might even help.

Not even a direct hit can kill a Honda or it's rider!

Would like to put in a bid on next years rally, In Snyder Texas last weekend in August we have a rally The White Buffalo Bikefest, Not trying to drum up attendance but its centrally located and w/ the rally going on you have entertainment, rides concerts venders there are motels just outside the fence and RV spaces at rally sight and tons of free tent camping on sight. And hey I had the only F6 there this year and would love to see a ton there next year, Glad all involved in accidents were and are getting better

Branson Missouri sounds good...........for the National Rally.....kinda center of the country with some entertainment, but, how about the riding. I have never been there. Franklin NC could be good for the Southeast Rally.

Harrison Arkansas perfect riding google push mountain, cliff house inn,
peel ferry, and many other places in that area pig trail is in the area.

Lots of good riding in S. MO and especially in central/nw AR! Never been to Branson. Eureka Springs is a little 'touristy' (Antiques, coffee shops, etc) but stil nice area. Pea Ridge battlefield in NW AR for History buffs.
Wife and I spend a week in AR ridng every year. Tend to 'base camp' in Russellville and typically day-ride in-out.
Boston Mountains are our fave (N of Russellville) vs Ozarks (South), and also a tad cooler in the summer.
Pig trail is west of Russellvile, just north of Ozark. Cliff restaraunt is ~half way or so~ between Russellville and Harrison on 7. If ya like country riding on good 2 lanes highways, not much traffic, hills/trees/curves,,, pretty easy to find it in AR!!! The Natives are rider-friendly too! =)

MAYBE..........Base camp at Honda of Russellville, and take our daily rides out from that area. Show support for one of our sponsors, and ride their back country while we are at it.
