Heading to Huntsville, Ala this weekend

With ROT rally going on in town, I figured to skip out and get east to see family in Huntsville and Birmingham and ride around a bit. Any roads to consider that are less than a few hours away? Don't have time for the BRP or Deals Gap as it's a 4 day turnaround this time with 2 riding to/from Austin and 1 visiting family.
