Had some time to ponder on a long ride today and came up with some down sides to riding.
1) Cleaning bugs off the bike is a must but I let the rain wash my truck.
2) My truck has air conditioning my bike has hot air flow.
3) You never get to smell all them stinky rotting road kills except on a bike.
4) I got a washer fluid shower today behind a little car at a light. Serious pump on his washer!
5) Tar snakes don't freak me out in my truck!!
6) Every little pot hole and expansion joint is torture to my herniated disks in my back.
7) I fear every teen girl with a phone in her hand.
8) Diesel fuel spills are cringeworthy threats and gas stations.
9) Garage sale signs should read... "DANGER GARAGE SALE AHEAD PEOPLE STOPPING WITHOUT NOTICE"
10) Other bikers that do stupid things are just the worst kind of riders. (you know the kind)
However I would not trade one mile on my bike for fifty miles in my truck! I love every scary and painful minuet of it!!
