    My neck hurts

I have gotten spoiled with the F6B. There is no doubt about that.

Today I went and picked up my new (TO ME) bike--- a 2006 Harley street Bob. I sold the Street Rod last week and went to fill the position of "Bike #2" in the garage. I got a super deal on a 2006 Street Bob so I drove the 120 miles to pick her up today. The ride back home was about 70 miles of interstate with the mini apes and no fairing or wind protection. I love the sound of the pipes and high compression pistons and heads and exhaust, but after the ride, my neck is sore from fighting the wind on the helmet. At 61 I guess I am getting soft in my old age. I suppose it is time to ride the B down to Dairy Queen for dessert and think about how tough I used to be. It sucks getting old!

After several years on my 05 VTX F3 1800, I told myself I would never ride again without some type of windshield or fairing. Now several years later, and 3 bikes with wind protection, I am totally spoiled at the ripe old age of 76 and have no desire to ride anything without a fairing or large shield...Too much noise, turbulence, bugs, and other neck, shoulder and head issues to ride without one.....Ride safe

My second bike is a 2016 Triumph T120 Black. Totally different bike. 500 lbs and 1200cc. Fast and light for the back roads and around town.

I can relate. The heat got to us today and we called it quits.
    It does suck getting old....LOL.. I'm 65
Earlier this year, I unloaded a Yamaha FJR for the F6.
Everytime I rode the FJR, I felt like a fat, old man in a mini speedo swim suit.
    It just wasn't right...LOL

That's funny. I can see that. You never want to be bigger than the bike. Made me lol. I can relate.

Somehow I feel I should be using my moderator super powers for the good of the community.
The other side is that it made Shooter somewhat uneasy and that's funny....
