Silly me....I thought there were actually bears at Bear Mountain...

I ride through there all the time, in fact I will be there again tonight. A few of us get together on Wed nights and ride out for the car show at the bottom of the park.

HMMM, You never invited us to go up there. Poor Duke still thought there were bears up there. Heaven only knows what a lost girl from the south thinks is up there.

Is there any place around there that has decent pie?

Yep, we took the full tour of the area, including Harriman state park and the surrounding military fire-ring ranges.The gang I was with were Legion members prone to tell old war stories. You should have heard them break into their version of a song from the V-N era movie when a flight of helicopters flew over. Da ta da da etc.
