    I think that we are all in agreement that "Risk Mitigation" as it applies to life, liberty, pursuit of happiness, and motorcycle riding is personal and can only be decided by the individual.

    It's when the individual makes choices that adversely affect other parties, is when conflict arises, and rightfully so.
    Example: someone decides to drink and drive and kills one of my family?
    Not an 'accident' - that's a mishap.
    And there shall be accountability/repercussions, in and out of the legal system.

    To each his own.
    Ride your own ride.
