Served 2 years shore duty, 2 years on a Tin Can (DD805), & 2 years on River Patrol Boats in the Rung Sat of the Mekong Delta, S. Vietnam (RivDiv 512, PBR 283). Survived '68 TET. I want to thank all that have served, are serving, and will serve. No matter what your specialty or rate, all who served were important to the total effort.

The reason I know exactly how long I was in the Navy was because I LOVED every second of my life as a Navy EOD / bomb disposal tech. Retired as a CW03 and a smile on my face for doing a job I enjoyed with some of the most amazing shipmates on the planet.Originally Posted by Westernbiker
