    Queen & Country

    12 years in the British Army, and my regiment was The Queens Royal Irish Hussars, part of The Royal Armoured Corps.

    2 Tours of Northern Ireland 83-84 (The Bad Old Days) and again in 1990.

    Served in Germany 82-88 Munster and then in Fallingbostel 1990-1993

    Deployed to to Saudi as part of the 7th Armoured Brigade "Desert Rats" for Op Granby/Desert Storm

    CVRT Crew Commander FV107 Scimitar

    Proud to have served for you!
    The reason I know exactly how long I was in the Navy was because I LOVED every second of my life as a Navy EOD / bomb disposal tech. Retired as a CW03 and a smile on my face for doing a job I enjoyed with some of the most amazing shipmates on the planet.
