    GPS / Cell phone holder

Anyone have a good direction on a universal gps / cell mount? I just finished installing my Corbin seat, floor boards with a heal toe shifter and a cee baily windshield. Would like to install it before my cross country trip. Thanks!

    Options

I would think there would be more options for a touring oriented rig like the GL platform but...
There are handle bar mounts but I like things a little more centered so I mounted my GPS cradle to the glove box. Wiring is hidden nicely too. I bought an extra cover for $30 but like the gps. I plan on velcro holding my waterproof phone case on the right side fairing when I go on trips.

That's a great idea! Where did you get another stock cover for $30? Honda?

Yes. All I bought was the top cover so I could return to stock if wanted. The entire cover complete is $55-60 with the hardware and gasket. I had mounted the unit with the suction cup mount provided on the dash shelf in front of the speedo but couldn't hide the power wire very well and being that high up the GPS had quite a bit of glare. On the glove box I can sheild it with my body (to read it) and it is still far enough forward so you don't take your eyes from the road ahead.

The best holders for phones and GPS are made by RAM Mount.

Basically get a handlebar base, an arm, and a device mount. The number one most popular mount for phones is the Ram spring loaded cradle. http://www.texascyclechrome.com/spri...onecradle.aspx

Always get a custom fit for your GPS. It is the most secure mount.
