    Backrest question??

    is it possible to mount an oe passenger backrest on non deluxe model?

    Yup. You need the mounts, and either drill holes in the blanks or buy the $$ ones colour matched from Honda. If you have a rack, then you already have what you need. If you get the backrest, then you will have what you need for a rack. Don't get the OEM rack or backrest though. Get the BikeMP3 rack. It is wider. Show Chrome backrest.

    Another option is Twisted Throttle rack. Looks like it is ready for Monokey mounts for Givi cases.

    I installed the OEM passenger backrest on my last F6B and ordered one yesterday when I bought my new one. Didn't really think about the aftermarket ones available. The bracket and backrest cost me $344. It took me a little over an hour the first time, but I screwed up and had to go back in.
