I only put 20k on my old bike in six years. I have 5,800 on this one in five months.

"Ride Shiny Side Up"
Purchased mine June 24 2013 and i have 6700.......I need more riding time!
Got mine in February from Dale's other shop.......just turned over 8,000 miles..........loved every minute of those miles too. This bike is "SWEET"!
Once my bike is back on the road...Dale and I are going to come over and kidnap you, and force you onto your bike, and make you ride between us (on your own bike, of course) for the next 10,000 miles...or 1 week (ha ha ha).
Still you have good mileage for riding this year, so far.
Everyone, keep up the riding !!!!!!
I must concur with my fellow VBS owner...it is always a good idea to take a longer ride home in the evening, just to blow out the cobwebs of the working day. When my wife and I worked over at the Hanford Nuclear Site, we both rode to work, on separate bikes, and we would take a little longer ride to get to work...rather than the direct route, and a much longer ride to get home. It was always well worth it.
I bought mine July 17th. 64 days ago. My mileage is 3836. 59 miles/day. At that rate, a year's worth would be 21,535. However, I put 1018 miles on it right out of the chute, riding home from Russsellville. Take that out of the equation and divide the remaining mileage 60 days, it comes to 46.97 miles/day. Multiply that by 365 and it's 17,142 in the first year.
That's a lot of math. Phew... I'm worn out. I'll go riding.

Bought my F6B Feb.6, 2013. I have 13,814.5 miles on it. Change oil every 3,000 miles whether it needs it or not. Just got off a 2645 mile round trip. Loving every minute of it.
Left early for work today new route 37 miles to work.
But still only 7 to home.
Good for you! Was it worth it?
I also get an hour lunch so I eat at my desk quick and go for an hour ride. I have a few 30-45 mile loops that I use for that.
One more way to "ride more" is to sell your car or truck. My wife has a 4 door F150 she takes to work but for the past several years I only have my bike(s). This does not work so well in Minnesota or Maine, although you could have just a bike and a snowmobile.
