    self-cancelling turn signals

I have a 2015 standard "B". I want to modify the turn signals to be self-cancelling. I'm sure someone here will know how difficult or easy it would be. Tried to search it but couldn't find a direct answer. THANKS

I like to figure out how to "disable" the self cancelling feature. They frequently will turn off before I want them to.

Don't know for sure, but I think it's fairly involved. There is a module that fits to the steering assembly on the self-cancelling models, and I assume some other wiring changes. If anyone does know a simple solution (or what it would really take to do it), I'd be interested as well.

Sometimes it is a real pain having them turn off before you want them to. I have got in the habit of "reactivating" them but also found out that if your on the brakes or have the clutch pulled they don't turn off.

Have your dealer find out why they are not working right. As far as I know its been standard equipment since at least 2001 and maybe long before on the 1500 series. The "sensor" that signals them to cancel is under the front end in the bottom of the triple tree, maybe its unplugged? Do they turn off if you just ride straight for a distance? They have a counter built in that shuts them off after 200 feet I think?

2013 did not have self cancelling turn signals. your 2015 does indeed have them. If you want to disable them you will have to get down to the top triple tree nut. In the center of that tube is a rubber plug with a wire coming out of it. Trace that wire back into the wiring harness and you will find a plug disconnect that plug and the self cancellers will not work, but the turn signals will.
