    Border to Border

Nope no problems at all. The Canadian border folks were real nice and directed us to good little motel 19 miles up the road. The mexicali border was just dirty and depressing...we did not stay any longer than we had to. You are right about taking you time after the ride is over...you will need some decompression time. All in all...I would do it again.

I completed my Border to Border Insanity in July.
Used it as part of a Saddlesore 4000.

You IBA guys amaze me. I may do a SS1000 this year... won't even think about the others until I've done that one. Great job!

    Iron Butt Rides

It really is just a mental challenge. If you prep and plan well...you just bang out the miles from point A to point B.

The next one on my list is the Coast to Coast in less than 50 hours.

Your Accomplishment is wonderful. The only thing that I would add is I hope you'd travel back slower to enjoy the ride and scenery. Sort of soak it in. Since you flew by it at warp speed the first time.

Congratulations. I attempted the B2B, on a HD Road Glide but failed. Canada to Wichita, KS and the bikes computer died. (my fault, forgot to put the rubber boot back on after I installed a power commander) I was in a heavy, heavy rain storm. Sideways rain, truck spray, lightning. Tornados in the area. I35 was even closed ,for a portion in Texas, due to flooding.

I have a tour tank in the garage and have been toying with the idea of mounting it on the F6B. What was your range? Has anyone attempted mounting an aux. fuel cell on the F6B. I know a few guys that have mounted them on full size Goldwings.

I had the tour tank mounted on a ST1300. Nice gravity fed system. Worked perfectly on my 100ccc ride.

    Any advice would be appreciated.
