    Fork Springs

Some time ago I purchased Progressive fork springs (11-1521) for the GL1800 thinking they would also fit the F6B.

Now I've come to fit them I realize Progressive don't list them for the F6B.
I fired off an email to Progressive Suspension and they replied straight away advising against using them as the F6B is lowered?

I guess this is now why there are three different monotubes, one for each model of bike including a 1" lowered F6B.

What I don't understand is Honda list the same part number for the OEM fork springs for each bike.

    What could the difference be?

    Cool

Big Larry can chime in here but I believe they are same, GL-vs-B...Yes Progressive does sell a lowering mono tube , I had them in my B but the springs to my knowledge are the same !

+1 and the OEM GL/F6B springs can also be used in the VTX1800 forks too.

    Unresolved

    Thanks for the confirmation guys.

I wonder why Progressive don't list the GL1800 springs for the F6B then?
Maybe there is something internally that's different, will have to investigate the parts fiche a bit deeper.

The suspension is the same they lowered the seating position on the bike. The front fork springs are the same as I have a set in my bike as well as their rear spring which is a huge improvement as well.
