Gotta do something in these cold-ass winter states.
I saw 2 snowmobiles running the river today it wasn't frozen a week or so ago. But we did have a few very cold nights.

Just got my b in July, I normally work every weekend so solo riding short trips is my norm just around 7500

I worked pretty much 6 days a week all year so only 7K or so. I'm off on another TDY and my B is nowhere near to check...

Over 22,000 and that's including two partial winters. I haven't ridden in two or three weeks, and last winter I rode sporadically, only when able. I killed it during the year.

She's almost totally stock too...shield, Rivco pegs, and grip puppies were the only "comfort" adds. Perfect as is for me.

So far, running year round with warmer temps, doesn't necessarily equate to more riding.

JackB's question fired up a host of pleasurable memories. I rode well over 30,000 miles in 2016 thanks to a dream ride of 7 weeks and 17,000 miles. I was able to ride in some of the most beautiful areas of the U.S. - areas that I had never seen before. It's been a great riding year.

Ya, those guys are a little crazy. They run the rivers here, and zoom over the open water spots. Sounds like a cold way to die, if they don't make it. I will ride the lakes, but I wait until the ice is good and thick.

Started with 7200 miles at the start of the season

I put 9,800 miles on for the year.
Now the bike has over 16000 miles so it was a good years ride for sure and even got 160 mile ride in the middle of November and that's almost unheard of in Michigan.
