I bought a pair of UCLEAR HD speakers and installed them in my modular helmet. Here is a link for the speakers http://www.amazon.com/UCLEAR-Definit...eywords=uclear. I then put the helmet on on plugged it into my IPOD and boy did they sound fantastic! I then took the bike for a ride and plugged the speakers into the headphone jack connected to the 5 pin plug. They did not sound near as good. The base was not strong like when I had them plugged into the IPOD. They sounded OK but not great. Do you think a headphone amp would help with this, something like this http://www.amazon.com/Fiio-E07K-Port...hone+amplifier.
