A couple of adds to the baby: Hydrodipped burlwood dash trim and heel-toe shifter (thanks Oiler).

Replaced Chrome Exhaust with Black Stock

Took off the stock 2014 chrome pipes and installed the black pipes from a 2015. (Thanks, Stevvvo!)

I love the new sound! It's a bit deeper, throatier. And you can hear the engine "bubble" or rumble when you engine brake. Veeeery niiiice!

I think the new pipes add some attitude to the look of the bike as well. What do you think?

You'd be a good judge to the recent thread about sound, old to new.

    New Rear Tire

I order a new rear tire from Dennis Kirk, a pretty nice price I will admit but still not impressed with the size of the tire on the 6, a 180, my M109R had a 250 rear tire, but the 180 did a decent job right up until it wore out.

At the dealer for 1st service today and fitment of Pathfinder fog lights. By the way definitely 1000km for first oil and filter change here on Oz, then every 12000km thereafter.

Like the sound of my 15' F6B Although cant seem to work out if is the motor or pipes making the sweet but subtle deep sound. Either way i like it!

    Harley Chopped Pak/led lights

Did a few things over the weekend to the new ride. Added my Harley chopped pack to my bike. Not gonna use it all the time but it will be nice for trips and provide some support and a lot of comfort/stability for my wife which is important to me. She had a trunk on the last 2 bikes so its hard not to have one now. It sure looks good on the bike and fits the profile of the bike nicely, compared to the standard wing trunk which is real top heavy and still looks like the wing trunk from 10 years ago (no offense to the guys with standard wings). The whole setup including the rack (made from a 12" X 16" polypropylene cutting board) and everything probably only weights 10 pounds or so which is way lighter than the stock wing setup. Look for a write-up coming soon on the install!

Onto the lights, added 2 6000k white led running/turn signal lights to the front mirrors with smoked lenses and baker hands wings. Also added 4 red led bulbs to the back of the bike replacing both amber turn signals and both incandescent tail light bulbs. Then added the custom dynamics universal smart triple play so that all 4 bulbs act as running/braking lights and the 2 outside bulbs still act as turn signals. The other great thing about the smart triple play is that you have 10 different braking patters to choose from. i like the ones with the strobe effect, it really gets the attention of the drivers behind you, and the setup has to be 5 times brighter than stock. Comparison videos included at the bottom!

Edit: Now if I could just find some time to install the belly pan i purchased and take the exhaust off and black out the heat shields I will be done for a while.
