How often do you change yours?
How often do you change yours?
When I change the oil. I picked up a bunch of them a long time ago.
Never - I installed a Stahlbus drain plug a few years ago. One of the best accessory items I installed. I do install a new washer on the rear drive however every time I change that fluid.

How much lower does the Stahlbus stick out, although I'm guessing it's not a clearance issue?
That Stahlbus looks pretty cool.
The Stahlbus just replaces your existing drain plug so there are no clearance issues what-so-ever. Once installed it's never removed. As you will see from the pics that Larry posted there is an aluminum dust/dirt cap that screws on after you drain your oil. The cap is just to keep everything clean until next time. You just push in the connector and give it about a 1/8 turn and wha-lah, the oil starts draining out the tube into your pan. No muss, no fuss, no drips. I have one on my 2017 Jeep Cherokee also - no issues at all. The only con is the price. I think I paid around $45.00 for it. I've tried other brands but this is my choice.
