I think almost any hard bottom would work. The thing to avoid is if bigger than the rack and the bottom sags down it can rub the top of the painted surfaces. Avoid that and good to go. The antenna can also get in the way. I found a black set of these and added. Gives you more places to tie down. http://wingstuff.com/products/33655-...?from_search=1
If you get luggage that the bottom is larger than the Honda rack, just put a hard surface in the bottom, and then strap it on. Hard plastic or something similar, can be cut or sized to fit the bottom of your luggage, then pack your stuff on that. works well.
I purchased this Luggage Rack Bag and it appears to be a reasonably priced solution. As others have mentioned, I will likely put a piece of plastic on the bottom so it provides support. This is a great looking bag too btw.

Sounds like you already have the small Honda Line luggage rack installed. Hard to find something useful to mount on such a small rack.
I installed this rack and we rode 2-Up long distance with 50 pounds of luggage on the rack and no issues. This rack is strong and will accomodate about any size bag you want.

GIVI makes a great box. You'll need to put on the GIVI attachment kit mounts , it's just 3 small pins about 25-30 bucks from twisted throttle
I have the Show Chrome rack and a Kuryakin Grand Tour bag and it fits perfect lots of storage. They don't make that bag anymore but it is similar to this one.

Went with a little larger rack, and use the Kuryakyn Xkursion XW1.5 Roller Bag. Excellent bag.
